Hey there,

I'm Mackenzie B. Moore!

I'm an illustrator born and raised in the Great Lakes region of the US, where I looked forward to getting the Sunday newspaper so I could read the comics section. Titles like Mutts, Family Circus, and especially Peanuts filled my afternoon and my imagination.

Before pursuing children's illustration, I followed in the footsteps of my inspirations, creating the online comic strip Cinimomo Comics. This valuable time gave me the experience and push I needed to truly seek art, and storytelling, as a career.

Now, my focus is on creating picture books and art for kids. My work is deeply influenced by my background in cartooning: using expressive characters with clean lines, distinct shapes, and old newspaper print colors.

When I'm not doodling, you can find me researching new dessert recipes, going on a woodland walk, or watching historical dramas (happy ending required!).
